I am finally catching up with some of the posts that I have meant to do for ages. This is a music video that I did a few months ago with the fantastic band “The Ambience Affair”. This is their new single called The Fallen which is on their debut album “Burials”.

Burials was released through Bluestack Records on October 14th. You can get more information about where they are touring, where to buy their album etc here.

A few months ago I had the pleasure of working with an up and coming star called Maverick Sabre. He is a true gent, originally from London, he moved to New Ross in Wexford and spent his formative years there. He moved back to London to pursue his music career.

We filmed most of the video in Co. Wexford, we were so lucky because we did alot of filming outside and the weather was absolutely splitting the rocks!

It was a very quick 2-day shoot, so there was alot to fit in to that short space! We travelled from Rosslare, to Wexford Town, New Ross, Greystones and the Dublin Mountains.

You might remember some weeks ago I shared some behind the scenes photographs of the Music Video for “My Little Honda 50“. I shared the actual video later on facebook, but for those that didn’t catch it there I thought I would post it up on the blog too.

It is very tongue in cheek and was quite a bit of craic!

It was a really fun and interesting shoot to work on. I got to hand lay some facial hair for this Desert Prince Look:

Also got to do other interesting character make-ups like Sgt Kelly – Garda , Beetle Juice, the Blues Brothers,  a priest, a convict, a doctor, a gangster and a nun.

He also had a little accident

And of course had a bit of a scrape. Get the plaster!

This is the make-up for the music video set in Dublin that I did with Carl Barat last year. We filmed it in one of the oldest pubs in Dublin, The Brazen Head. It was a pretty extreme day as they got all the people to talk about their lost loves. It meant that we filmed a whole load of people talking about their experiences and some really sad, harrowing tales of losing loved ones. The people divulged some pretty personal stories, everything from death, hurt, cheating on a partner to miscarriages.

Carl seemed to be really sympathetic and genuinely moved by everybody’s story. It made me think that these kind of tales were exactly what he was trying to channel in this song. He was very appreciative of every person telling their individual tale.

The day itself flew by and it was great getting to work with a professional team from London. I hope to work with the gang in Agile Films again in the future as they seem to be doing loads of interesting projects.

This is a Music Video that I did recently to raise money for testicular cancer. Lots of us donated our time to a really good cause in the hope that people will donate their money

I have been doing some research and absolutely love the glamour  and flair of the Motown Musicians. Diana Ross, the Supremes, Gladys Knight, Teena Marie, The Marvelettes, Martha Reeves & The Vandellas all make up this fantastic music genre.

Haha! Love the costumes in that video.Especially the froggy thing..?! It would be so cool to have my own bubble that I could walk all over people in! Just as well the wind didn’t pick up and blow him away…wouldn’t have been able to finish the song, now that would be a tragedy. The hand puppet is the cherry on the already wonderfully weird ice cream sunday. Man I wanna see this LIVE! It has it all!

Anyway…I am gonna stop talking about this now, it’s making me sad.
